“I'm writing this review because this is my first ever purchase which made me realize that US shoes sizes really differ between brands. First off, I wanted to give my gratitude to Vessi's customer service who assured me that exchanging my original size 13 down to 12 then size 11 was an acceptable thing to do within their policy guidelines. Second, to any person pondering shoe size, I realized that the centimeter value(CM) is the most accurate way of gauging what size shoe one should get because of the aforementioned US shoe sizes differing from brands. To which I say to Vessi, that I wish they showcased their CM shoe size values on the size guide. Other than that, I'm very pleased with my purchase.”
“Vessi has become my new go to shoe. They are totally waterproof and work! Winter in Vancouver is so wet and it can be miserable when your feet get soaked. Not this year! They’ve been a game changer this winter. Product arrived arrived within a few days and great customer service!”

“My friends are annoyed because i talk consistently about my vessis. I work with children who love reading with me, and they specifically love “Pete The Cat: Brand New White Shoes.” Now, in this story, Pete (the titular cat) steps in many things, staining his shoes different colours. The story concludes with him eventually stepping in a bucket of water. He is left with wet shoes. He does not cry, but having wet feet CANNOT be and IS NOT comfortable. Too bad he didn’t have MY brand new shoes, huh?”
“OK the shoes good. But the price is really pricey. My tread is not lasting up to the price I’m paying. I’ve worn other sneakers that are lasting longer, fitting us comfortably, but I’m not sure doing this much for the environment. Hence my four-star as versus a different star. I really am comfortable in the sneaker. But I’m comfortable in a lot of sneakers tree and not at this price. And right below ‘would you recommend this product’. Well, frankly, yes and no. I’m going to say yes because I hope this company read the review like this and does some changes in regard to the pricing and how they do that.”
Hey Maria! Thanks for your honest review! We do read these reviews and we do pass these notes on to our design team. Originally, the tread was made with a lighter material to be more lightweight. However, we have been looking into switching the material for future designs to add some more durability. Of course the trade off will be that it's a little heavier, but we're definitely testing to see what feels right! We look forward to you trying on any new and improved pairs in the future! “These shoes fit perfectly, and they keep my feet comfortable and dry. My only complaint is the cushion on the insoles feels really flat, so after walking on concrete and sidewalk for a while when I'm out running errands it starts to hurt, and since they fit so perfectly there's no room for an addition like Dr Scholls. But other than that, they're good!”
Hi Shane! Thanks for the honest review and relatively positive review! We are currently working on improvements for our insoles. The arch support is definitely on the lower side so it sounds like you would've really benefited from putting in personal insoles. “Ordered a pair for myself, men's 11 regular width, and was shocked at how wide they were. Nearly an inch wider than my Nike and Under Armour sneakers. Returned them and got a pair for my wife, women's 7 regular, who has a large bunion on the side of her foot. She finds the extra width to be comfortable. Your company should indicate on the website that the shoes run wide. Haven't been able to try in wet weather. Would recommend product only to people with wide feet or those with medical issues who prefer a wide fit shoe. Deceptive advertising.”
