“I like the comfort so far only in dry weather. But my issue is getting them on my feet ! They seem to be too narrow at the top so I need to start inserting my toes with the boot sideways then I turn the boot parallel to my foot push deeper then pull on the rear boot strap! Maybe over time this will get easier!”
Hi Bob,
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience with us.
We’re sorry to hear you’re finding your Vessis too tight. For some reference, however, it’s actually quite normal for the ankle opening to be a little snug to start. Over the first few wears of your new shoes, you’ll notice that the upper knit and ankle opening will stretch to accommodate your foot shape. By starting tighter, this allows the shoe to mold to your ankle shape - making sure no water seeps in through the ankle opening.
Some customers use a shoehorn in the meantime, which should help. You can also speed up the stretching process by leaving a few pairs of thick socks balled up inside the shoes overnight.
That said, I'll be sure to pass your feedback along to our Product team, as we are always looking to improve. We'll use your insight towards our research and development for our future design improvements.
Thank you again for sharing your thoughts on your Vessis with us.
“The shoes are very comfortable and until now the claim to be waterproof has stayed true. My only issue with them being the back leather, which is meant to help put on the shoe which continuously hits the back of my leg when im wearing anklets or something similar.”
“Very stylish and it’s amazing how well they perform in rainy weather! The soles mean they extremely comfortable and made for long distances of walking - perfect for travelling.”
