“I love These shoes and have purchased a pair for every member of my family. I would have given these shoes 5 stars however, within 1 day my son lost both of the little clips that keep the laces tight. I think for a children’s product that the laces should just be longer and not include them or be elastic and just be able to slip your feet in and not have to tie. Just my two cents. Otherwise they are the best shoes ever and I recommend them to everyone”
“Bought these for our grand daughter so she doesn’t have to wear rain boots and carry her runners to school. She even tested them the first day standing in puddles and they did not disappoint. She now wears them everyday even on days that are dry.”
“My son is quite happy with his Vessis. He initially complained about them being tight around the ankle, but on a second fitting, he said they fit great and he has been wearing them constantly in our rainy fall weather. Vessi's claim of the shoes being waterproof is accurate and my son loves that he can wear these breathable sneakers instead of rubber boots on rainy days.
Two concerns we have with them are that the sole is already showing considerable wear after only a few weeks (my son is not hard on his shoes nor has he worn them every day) and also that the sole is quite slick in dry conditions. On more than one occasion, my son has "wiped out" on the asphalt and grass at school in his Vessis. By comparison, he has not had this happen in his regular Adidas runners.
Overall, we're pleased with them, but for the price, I expect better wear characteristics on the sole. My son does like them and finds them quite comfortable.”
“We were so excited when vessi came out with a kids line! My daughter could not wait to get hers after we purchased for big sister last year. These are the best everyday kids shoe for school in our wet weather. Dry feet = happy kids = happy momma. They look great, are comfortable and waterproof. Highly recommend for the kids.”
“I’ll give a five star, the only small issue it that the heel is a little bit hard and it hurts if your socks aren’t long enough. Otherwise they are very nice shoes .”
“Our 7 year old loves her Vessi shoes. Perfect for wet winter weather and super stylish!! Love that she loves them. Only drawback is the laces were too short to tie and she didn’t want to use the little tie clips that come with them. We had to buy regular laces for them.
Still a well made product and we will buy again!!”
