“I bought these for my son who is autistic and struggles with laces and getting his shoes on.
After a few weeks, they’re still a bit stiff to get on but he can mostly get them on himself and doesn’t need to worry about laces.
He’s comfy, because he won’t wear any other shoes, and it’s pouring with rain right now in Australia and he can walk confidently into school without me worrying he’ll have wet socks all day.
They’re true to size and we went a size up to allow for growth.

“My son has these shoes in black and my daughter in the very light blue. They are completely waterproof and my kids have made sure to test them at every puddle. We are 100% happy with how waterproof they are. Downsides are that they are a bit 'stuffy' and the kids get sweaty feet (but still better than rain boots), the light colour does not last and does not get clean after all that puddle jumping so my daughter was a bit disappointed in how they looked after only wearing them a couple times (washing them only slightly helped and I just don't have time to be washing them weekly as would probably be needed to keep them looking spiffy), and the toggle on the shoelaces for the kids was lost almost immediately and there is no replacement available. My kids are old enough to tie their shoelaces but the shoes don't come with laces long enough to tie.”
