These are my second pair of Vessi’s… I previously purchased the Everyday sneakers in all black and loved them so much that I fairly quickly went right back to snag up the Weekend sneakers in black upper and white soles. Both styles are so easy dress up or down, but I find the Weekends are my go to when it comes to wearing sneakers in a chill suit or blazer.

“I purchased these for my son who is going away for college. We were deciding between a famous brand of duck shoes or these. Of course, my son preferred the sneakers over duck shoes. We sized up to an 11 (he wears between 10.5-11 in most shoes). He states they are very comfortable without breaking them in. I like how the “faux” tongue is stylish and practical. My son can just slip these shoes on and go to classes. His feet will surely stay dry during the rainy days walking around campus. Worth the investment.”
“This is my first pair of Vessi shoes. Still getting use to the different arch support. But I always have issues when switching shoes. Other then that, they are doing fine. I'm avoiding puddles to keep them clean. So no waterproof testing. I found that the shoelaces are mainly visual. Don't tighten the laces, just tie them normally. They did have one small visual defect on the leather strip on one of the heels. Not noticeable unless you're actually holding the shoes. Not remotely worth returning. People wouldn't notice it while I'm wearing them. I give them two thumbs up.”

My only critiques are very subjective. I like thicker shoes, but thinner shoes are very popular and in style, and frankly, why would I buy a popular shoe and be upset that it's what's hot right now? They're very comfortable, and roomy around the toe, so the sizing wasn't an issue. Though I do have very wide feet, so it's a little tight around the middle. But I just lace them loosely and it's all good. All this to say, there are plenty of possible things that could've gone wrong, but the shoe is flexible and adaptable enough to avoid these problems. All in all, I'm quite happy.”
