“It was recommended that I size down from my usual size eight - that turned out to be a mistake. The size sevens they sent me were way too small. I sent them back within days and got the proper size for my feet. It was a quick and easy process. When they arrived I could see that they were going to work better than the size sevens I bought. They fit really well, even if they are still a bit tight. I'm guessing that will change over time as I continue to wear them. (Fingers crossed.) As for the waterproof aspect of these shoes, I found out today after some heavy rain, that they do indeed work. I walked in a few puddles, nothing too deep, just to check. I was amazed that my feet stayed dry. I could feel the cold water and that was it.
The only reasons I'm not giving these five stars is because one: they really aren't as wide as they say they are and recommending to size down wasted a lot of time and energy. Two: they're kind of ugly. I'm not sure if it's just the Women's Weekends or what. (I haven't seen the other types of shoes they have in person.) But they are. I'm not sure what exactly it is, but they just look ugly. Luckily I just use these for going for walks when there's rain and puddles around. (A common occurrence in a rainforest.) So I don't care too much about their looks.”
“This is my third pair of Vessis but first pair of weekends (I’ve had 2 pairs of everydays before), and I absolutely love them! I wear them to work since I needed all black shoes and they’re perfect to keep my feet warm and dry when there’s snow on the ground:) I had to exchange the size and the process was quick and easy- no problems at all! Overall love my Vessis!”
“The shoes are a nice lowkey look, they fit in with the crowd, but do WAY more! Comfort is definitely a top priority, i recommend everyone to swap their current shoes for these… I’m not even gonna talk about the obvious water proof aspect, but yea, call me a puddle killer!”
“These are great for walking out and about in inclement weather. They cradle your feet, cushioning them from the shock of the pavement. One thing to note: if you are going 1/2 size up, wear thicker socks and tie the laces tight. If you are walking quickly, rain droplets will collect and you will feel it. The soles tend to squelch when you come indoors on to hard surfaces. Otherwise, these are comfortable and dry footwear to be out in or to wear all day if you work on your feet.”
“i ordered the all black weekend sneakers and yes it is indeed waterproof. downside is i cannot use it at work especially on wet floor tiles. also the reason why i chose all black.. waterproof yes but not slip proof..”
