“These are not as great as I thought they would be. It is hard to tighten them because unlike other shoes, the tongue part is attached to the shoe. They aren’t great for the rain, the traction is quite bad. They are waterproof, but I ended up slipping and falling on my back. I have never had a pair of shoes with such bad traction, sometimes I will start to slip with other shoes but I can catch myself, but with these I could not. The shoes do not fit great, I am a size 9 typically so I ordered a size 8 but they are still very slightly big on me but it would be too small to get a size 7. They do feel mostly comfortable, though. I don’t think they are worth the $155, though. I wouldn’t recommend these particular shoes, but maybe the other styles are better. I do like how they look.”
Hey Karly! We really appreciate you sharing your experience with us and for the honest review. We're glad that the waterproof aspect and the looks of our Weekend pair worked out for you! Thanks for the feedback on traction. We'll definitely be passing this on to our design team to consider when creating future models. We still recommend our customers to be cautious when moving across slippery surfaces. A suggestion to fill out the extra room in your size 8 -- if you have an extra pair of 3rd party insoles around, it might be worth giving those a shot. A thicker insole might take up the extra room :)
