“I’m so happy with the shoes and the customer service
I usually wear 8-8.5 and I ordered size 8 as Vessi recommended.
And the shoes fit me perfectly!
It is cute & super comfy
I’m so happy with my purchase!”
“My Vessies are fantastic for most day to day things I can take my time in. The unfortunate placing of the inner seam directly on the heel of the shoe limits it from high energy performance such as working out or simply working at a job where you’re on your feet your whole shift. Mine rubbed my heel raw through thick socks and left me with blisters for attempting an eight hour shift on my feet in them. However, when going for casual walks they’re extremely comfortable and seem completely water proof as advertised. In general, I’d recommend them as a very nice casual shoe but not for working in. 4/5 for me.”
Hello Paul,
Thank you for sharing your feedback! We will pass this along to our Product team as we're always looking for new ways to improve! Happy puddle hunting :)
“I love my new Vessi shoes. I love the way they look, and that they came with an extra pair of laces that are turquoise. They really are waterproof, and that is why I bought them...because I have 4 other pairs of shoes for work, and my feet get wet in all of them! It was time for new ones...and Vessi came to the rescue!
I received excellent customer service from Isabella, and she even provided a welcome discount code. She advised me to get a size down, as I’m usually a size 9. I received my new shoes in a few days, which was awesome. I considered sending them back, though, because they are very snug, and felt a little too short and narrow, and hurt my feet a little. They would be perfect if they were a half size bigger.
(Maybe next time I will order the men’s, as I’ve read that they are the same look, but a bit wider) I wore them around inside the house, and decided I would just keep them and hope they break in a bit. I had to go to work in the rain today, so it was time for my Vessi shoes to do their thing! They really did keep my feet dry from the puddles, and I was pleased.
My next issue was that while at work, I was very disappointed to discover that they were not safe on the wet floor. I understood when ordering them that they do not claim to be slip-resistant or slip-proof, but if they were...that would be A-MAZING!!! I would probably never buy another brand of shoe. There isn’t a lot of arch support either, but I think the insoles can be replaced, and I will try my orthotics inside.
Vessi, you do a great job at being waterproof! Thanks for finally giving me the luxury of dry feet on a rainy day.”
“I can’t remember if I have had three or four pairs of Vessi shoes. I wear them hard in that I walk 8-10 km each day in all kinds of weather. I like these shoes best in winter. I live in Toronto where winters are moderate, 0°C or colder. They keep my feet warm. They are light weight and fine for walking in snow, just not ice. They wear out on the inside heal and on the outside where the upper meets the sole at the back which leads to leeks. I would like them to last longer (they last about a year) or find another shoe that has these same advantages and lasts longer.”
Hi Jane,
Thank you for sharing this with us! Vessi are expected to last the lifespan of a normal shoe however, this will still all depend on several factors like type of wear, activities done with them or how one would care for them. But, we do understand where you're coming from and we'll forward this to the Product team for review. Thank you!
“My first pair of Vessi’s were too big...I am an 81/2...bought a 9 that time. I doctored them up with insoles so that they sort of fit. They were good in the wet but still slipped a bit on my feet too much for longer walks.
So...decided to try again a few months later and ordered a size 8 and I LOVE my new shoes!! They fit great and are so comfortable for all the walks I do with my best furry buddy!”
“Bought a pair for my husband and he wasn’t quite sure if he would like them.
Glad I bought them...wares them all the time walking the dogs. No more wet socks”
