“I bought a pair of weekenders for myself, one for my husband, and one for our kindergartener during the first properly rainy week after we moved to Seattle. Boys’ shoes are great! Foot fit and style, comfortable and truly waterproof. But the women’s are unfortunately the same as men’s; just size-corrected.
For gals with narrower feet like me, it just makes them feel pretty clunky. I didn’t expect something super sleek, but these look like I’m wearing my dad’s shoes, and while they do stay on (when tied tightly around the ankle), I feel I’d be just as sure footed, and more stylish, possibly even styler at the ankle, in rubber rain boots.
These will definitely be relegated to brief uses in puddles- probably too clunky even for dog walking.”
“I bought this same shoe in white and loved them. The only problem was how quickly the white got dingy. So, I thought the black ones would be a good solution. But, after wearing them for a few days, I found I don’t like the look. They look like an industry work shoe. They are comfortable but I don’t like the look as much. Still great for waking comfort and the waterproof factor, but just not as cute as the white ones were.”
“Women's Weekend are my first Vessi shoes. I've been wearing them for part of the day each day for two weeks and find that one shoe fits really well and the other is not entirely comfortable as my big toe is too near the end. I normally wear a half size and sized down as suggested. I did not realize that these shoes are slip-ons with the laces for some tightening rather than a real sneaker that has more adjustability. I had hoped to take them on a trip soon but I fear they will not be comfortable.”
