Hey Tiffaney! Thanks for sharing your experience. Our Women's Weekend pairs had a funky thing with their sizing. We advise customers getting the Women's Weekends size one full size down from their regular Vessi size. If you wear a size 7 in a pair of Everydays or CityScapes, you would need to get a size 6 for the Weekends! Hopefully this clears things up! It has been mentioned on the product page now. May we recommend replacing the stock insoles with a thicker 3rd party one? The thicker insole might take up the necessary extra room.
“I bought my Vessis around a month ago, and they are one of the most comfortable and practical shoes I've owned. Also, by jumping in many puddles, I can vouch they are completely waterproof, and even seem stain resistant to an extent (if they get stained a bit, for example from dirt, usually wiping it off does the trick! I haven't had to machine wash them yet, as they still look very clean).
I definitely recommend these as everyday shoes, and have been telling everyone about them as well! They're exactly what I needed, as I have ruined too many shoes due to water damage in the past.
Also, an awesome addition is that they come with a second pair of shoelaces! I got the grey shoes, and they came with extra turquoise shoelaces, which I was really excited about! :)”

Thanks for sharing your experience with us! It’s normal for the upper knit to be a little firm to start! Over the first few wears of your new shoes you’ll notice that the upper knit and ankle opening will stretch to accommodate and create the perfect shape around your feet. The reason you want this is to make sure no water comes in through the ankle. The only way to ensure this is if you allow the shoe to mold to your ankle shape. In order to do that, you do need them to be tight at first and then only stretch when they’ve learned your specific foot shape. This creates that snug, sock like fit that we are loved for!

Okay, full disclosure, I am not the most adventurous person, I don't really go hiking, or do much adventurous stuff.
However, I really do love my new Weekend Vessi's.
They fit so perfectly, and I have a high instep, so very often 'slip-on / sock-fit shoes are uncomfortable, put too much pressure on my instep and cause my toes to go numb. This did not happen with my Weekends. They felt perfect right out of the box!! I actually love that they are a slip-on,
They look great with jeans, sweats, or really anything. But the best is that they really are waterproof!
In Montreal, you never know, when you head out, what the weather will be in five minutes. Rain, snow, slush, puddles, etc. I don't love wearing heavy boots while I am grocery shopping, or just quickly running errands. So these are perfect.
I put these on, head out to run those errands, and I don't have to worry about soaking my feet, or ruining my shoes!
Plus, I love the look...I think I may get another pair in the Oak or the Classic Black & White
