“These shoes are very comfortable, they look great and they are definitely waterproof. However, they fit way too big. I usually wear 8 or 8.5 shoes so I ordered 8's and they were very big on me. So big that they fit my daughter who wears 9 or 9.5. I gave those to her and ordered 7's which then fit me better but to be honest, they are still a bit long. They are also quite wide and if you have narrow feet, you'll have to tighten the laces quite a bit. Otherwise, a great product but the sizing is definitely off for this one.”

Comfort: The shoe does feel like walking on a cloud. I like the room around the toes (my feet are usually happier with wide sizes).
Size: My regular size is 7. I read all the reviews but still opted for 7 knowing I am going to wear thick socks (I am a socks person). The reviews are spot on. My size 7 is big without socks or no show socks. I wished a 6.5 was available. I will buy another pair in another color if the Vessi team brings half sizes.
Care: Instructions do ask to use soapy warm water and hand wash. While you can toss it in the machine (per website) recommendation is hand washing. @Vessi Marketing team: please keep a consistent ONE story. Drop ‘machine washable‘ please from your website material if your product team does not feel comfortable about it when including instructions in the box.
Waterproof: Vessi shoes are proven. These are definitely waterproof but I have to admit that my daughter was not thrilled when I said I may not jump in deep muddy puddles with her with these on. I promised her more hikes and park time though .
Nice touch: I ordered the grey and got an extra pair of teal laces. Such a lovely accent to match the detail on the shoe and sole. Thank you Vessi!!”

We are definitely hoping to expand our sizing in the future to include half-sizes. For now, just hang on there and keep an eye out for any news. We'll let our Product Team know of your interest!
In regards to the washing aspect of the shoe, the Weekend Sneakers are definitely machine washable but our other styles are not. For the CityScapes and Everydays, we would recommend hand washing to prevent any damages to the waterproof membrane. We have improved on this aspect with our Weekend line so feel free to toss them into the washer!

“The pair I received were too big which made my stomach turn because returning stuff can usually be a massive pain and more expensive for me. Vessi was SO EASY and cost me nothing (which it should be)! And QUICK with getting me the right pair! Fantastic company to deal with. Haven’t had a chance to wear my Vessi’s too much yet but from what I have I can say they are really comfortable! Love them!!”
