“Great, mostly what I expected. Rained today so I got to step on some puddles and confirmed that it is indeed waterproof. I plan on bringing it to the philippines where this feature will be god sent. I will say too that the white parts are so white you can use it to calibrate your monitors.
Some criticism however, I expected this but walking on it did not feel like sneakers, felt like rubber boots but without the rubber sides if that makes sense. Like the heel when walking on marble/smooth hard surface felt like a *quap* *quap* *quap*. Also, I’m not used to the top and bottom part of the shoe being a one whole instead of a top flap, but this may just be what it has to be for waterproofing.”
“I love my Vessi! They’re comfortable and didn’t need to break them in. I’m a size 9 and that’s the size I got based on reviews. I did find them a tad wider on me but nothing a thicker pair of socks could fix. Overall happy with this purchase!”
“Honestly very comfortable shoes. They are less breathable than a pair of fabric or mesh-like tennis shoes but, they are waterproof which is very important for me. Whenever I exert myself while wearing them, my feet get a little warm. I like how they look and they provide good grip whenever I am off-roading. I certainly will be buying another pair again for adventuring in the outdoors so I don't have to worry about my feet getting soaked after a rainy day.”
“I researched high and low to find a pair of sneakers that are nice enough to wear around town, but are as comfortable as my running sneakers. Turns out that's a pretty tall order. Anyway, after a lot of misses with other brands, I tried Vessi.I originally ordered the Women's Weekend in size 8 because a number of reviewers recommended sizing down if you're between sizes (I am). That was a mistake. The size 8 shoes were snug, and I didn't trust that they'd stretch enough to be comfortable for all-day urban walking. So I returned them for a size 9 and bingo! They look great and even better, they feel great. The toe box is nice and roomy but my feet aren't slipping and sliding like I feared they would. I'm thinking about buying another color -- that's how happy I am with these shoes.”
