“I love the fit, how comfy the shoes are and how stylish they shoes are. The whiteness of the shoes dirty really easily and it’s hard to clean the shoes so one they get dirty (which happens really quickly) it’s hard to bring them back.”

“Of all the Vessi styles, I loved the simplicity and casual chic design of the Women's Weekend the most. I tried it on in store and could see it fitting in perfectly with the rest of my wardrobe. After purchase, it definitely held up with my anticipation, and the waterproof feature was amazing. I do think it was strikingly easy to get dirty, but much harder to then clean, compared to other shoe brands. I also felt that while the ventilation was nice while wearing it, once I took them off, I felt moisture wasn't escaping which I know will affect its quality over time. Overall though, I'm so grateful to have this shoe.”
“I was so excited when I got these because they are incredibly comfortable and I was looking for a shoe I can walk all day in. They are 100% that. I’ve had them for about 6 months now and I wear them on long days, 6-10+ miles and they’re so comfortable the entire time. The waterproof aspect is also a huge plus. Downsides: I sized down because I wear a half size and I can wear thin small foot socks but regular ankle socks are too thick and make them feel too tight. They’re advertised as machine washable, which they are, but don’t plan on the machine getting them sparkling white again. I have to soak them and hand wash them every week and they’re not as white as I’d like them to be. They’ll never be white white again and I’m pretty bummed about that. For being as expensive as they are, I wish I had gotten a different color knowing what I know now.”

We're so happy to hear that you've been enjoying your Vessis and taking them on all your adventures!
We're sorry to hear, however, that your Vessis aren't fitting as you'd hoped as well as not coming as clean as you'd hoped. For the tightness your Vessis should start off snug and will stretch with wear. You can try placing a pair of balled up socks inside the shoes where you feel you need some extra space and leave them for a few hours or overnight. Additionally you can try removing the insoles that come with your Vessis and using a thinner insert.
As for the cleaning of your shoes we do have some helpful tips!
For the knit, we recommend something like Dr. Bronner products. They offer a gentle but effective clean. Their detergent specifically shows the best results without causing any damage to the waterproofing membrane. Soak them in warm water. While using your water-based soap or laundry detergent, scrub them gently with a soft sponge to get all dirt/stains off. Leave them to dry and repeat until stains lift. Please do not bleach your shoes as this will damage the membrane. We recommend using a microfiber cloth (a soft sponge will work too), baking soda, and vinegar for the best results.
