“I do really like these sneakers they have great cushion on the bottom. The problem that I have with most shoes and with these as well is that I have very wide feet and the pressure on my big toes. After only a few hours they end up hurting.”
Hi Amber,
We're so happy to hear you are enjoying the cushioning of your Vessis!
As for the tightness it’s actually normal for Vessis to be a bit tight at first! Over the first few wears of your new shoes you’ll notice that the upper knit and ankle opening will stretch to accommodate to tailor to your foot shape. The reason you want this is to make sure no water comes in through the ankle, and the only way to ensure this is if you allow the shoe to mold to your ankle shape. In order to do that, you do need them to be tight at first and then only stretch when they’ve learned your specific foot shape.
Not to worry, after a few more wears the ankle opening will have loosened up to become the perfect fit for your feet. Lots of customers use a shoehorn in the meantime, which should help. You can also place a pair of balled up socks inside the shoes to help speed up the stretching process.
“This shoe feels like you’re wearing socks around your feet! Soft fabric, not stiff. I’m a half size and the recommendation to go down a size was correct and they aren’t tight anywhere. Plenty of toe room.”
“Love them. So comfortable. Unfortunately, I wore them once and already need to clean them. Otherwise some and comfortable. I would purchase black next time.”
