“The Weekend does are extremely comfortable and are definitely waterproof! Walking around rainy Sweden and not a worry crossed my mind. The shoes are lightweight but do seem to be a bit bulkier than what I usually wear. I have small feet (size 5.5-6) and these feel wider than your average shoe. More of a style preference, I suppose as I’m used to a more slim look.”
“They're a decent pair of shoes but for the price I was really expecting more. I got these shoes thinking they would be a nice long term investment, comfortable, well-built and easy to clean so that I could use them for a long time. But truthfully, I'm not impressed. After one week of normal use, my shoes are already so dirty, and the mesh isn't easy to clean like I expected. I rinsed my shoes daily and even put them in the wash, but they still look so much dirtier than a fairly new pair of shoes should. Something about the mesh seems to attract dirt, as I've never had a problem with my shoes getting super dirty quickly. For reference, I am in college and I walk outdoors across the big campus a lot, both on pavement and through grass when needed. But for a shoe advertised for walking through puddles and mud, I really didn't expect my normal walking through dry, trimmed grass to be an issue. In terms of comfort, they are okay. Maybe I need to break them in more, but I feel like the shoes aren't really that comfortable either. I got the mesh style weekend shoes hoping they would be breathable and I guess they are, but the shoes get dirty so fast I might just return them, and I'm not really the type to return anything. Overall, they're okay shoes but not really what I was hoping for.”

We're so sorry to hear you are having a tough time keeping clean, but we;d be happy to share some cleaning tips! We find that the key is to clean our shoes sooner rather than later. The quicker you can rinse off dirt, the easier it will be to keep them nice and clean. We recommend using a sponge or light coloured cloth made with natural fibers, baking soda, and vinegar for the best results.
As a casual/city shoe, Vessis do provide relatively low arch support. Some people love this, while others find it doesn’t work well for them. This is why we made the insoles removable so you have the option of using your own inserts for a more customized fit and comfort.

There doesn't seem to be enough cushion or arch support. Super unfortunate since I had really been looking forward to these shoes. Overall, nice day to day shoes but definitely not a travel shoe for me.”
“I have wanted some nice walking "out and about" shoes, but white is not my friend. I saw these were meant for rain adn washed up easily so went for it. I love them! I have rinsed them off and also washed according to instructions. They are so comfortable and still look brand new!”
