“I bought these for a week of sightseeing in Ireland. Pros - they held up to a day of rainy weather in Dublin and kept my feet dry and warm as promised. Cons - even though the fit of my shoe was felt correct (I'm between an 8-8.5 and went down to an 8), the stiffness of the top fabric caused unbearable pain in both my big toes after 2 days of a lot of walking. I couldn't wear them for the rest of the trip sadly. I think they'll be great for short jaunts around town when it's wet outside, but they didn't work for me for the long days of walking I had planned. (I do think it's specific to the anatomy of my foot as I usually wear holes in the tops of my shoes, since there are so many other thousands of positive reviews on these shoes. Just wanted to leave this here for other fellow members of the big toe hole club.)”
