While this fish oil is safe to take, you should check with your doctor before taking this supplement if you are on medication, such as blood thinners, are about to have surgery or have health concerns. Those taking warfarin or aspirin prescribed by their doctor are typically advised not to take omega-3 fish oil in its concentrated form as a supplement.

What is the difference between the capsules and the liquid?Two capsules a day will give you an excellent level of EPA & DHA, the same as a tin of sardines. That’s 1700mg omega-3 (1100mg EPA and 500mg DHA) for 30 days. If you feel you need more, you can try Life & Soul liquid – one teaspoon of this is the equivalent of 5 capsules.

Why are they easy to digest?This fish oil is super fresh so it is gentle on tummies and never cause fishy burps. They're also in the natural triglyceride form, which is easier for the body to absorb.
Can I open the capsules?We don’t recommend breaking the capsules open to give to children as it’s a bit fiddly and you’ll waste some of the oil. If you really want to, you can, but a better option might be Life & Soul liquid or their very own Action Heroes for kids.
Where is this made?All of the fish oil is made in Norway and the capsules in the UK. The fish are sustainably caught from clean, wild waters and FOS & IFFO-RS certified fisheries.
Why type of fish is used?Natural triglyceride-form fish oil from sardines, anchovies and mackerel (smaller fish with fewer contaminants). Fish gelatin and glycerol BP to hold it all together (no pork or beef). Bare Biology never use farmed fish, only small wild fish which are right at the bottom of the food chain, meaning they contain fewer heavy metals and other pollutants such as PCBs. Bare Biology only work with Norwegian fisheries and manufacturers certified by both Friends of the Sea and the Marin Trust.
Do I need to store in the fridge?The capsules don’t need to be kept in the fridge, but best to keep them somewhere cool.
How long will it last me?One month if you take 2 a day. Two months if you take 1 a day.
