BetterYou Vitamin D spray is specially formulated to be absorbed via the soft tissues in the mouth, and each vitamin D spray delivers 1000iu of vitamin D3, cholecalciferol, as a maintenance dose.
Vitamin D3 supplements are of particular importance to children and the elderly; vitamin D aids calcium absorption and is fundamental for maintaining healthy bones and teeth. Directions: As a food supplement, spray one dose of BetterYou D1000 spray into the mouth or into a drink. Each bottle delivers 100 individual doses. Suitable for children aged 13 years and above. Once opened, use within 6 months. Store at room temperature and out of direct sunlight. Keep out of reach and sight of children.
Not suitable for children under 13 years old. Do not exceed recommended dosage. Contains xylitol – excessive consumption may produce laxative effects.
Each daily dose (1 spray) contains 1000IU / 25μg (micrograms) of Vitamin D3. Other ingredients: Water, Diluent (Xylitol), Emulsifier (Acacia Gum, Sunflower Lecithin), Acidity Regulator (Citric Acid), Preservative (Potassium Sorbate), Flavouring (Natural Peppermint Oil).

What is the source of D3 in your Vitamin D Oral Sprays?The vitamin D3 contained in the majority of the Better You vitamin D sprays is sourced from Lanolin, which is the wool from a sheep. While the D3 in the D1000 Vegan Vitamin D Oral Spray is sourced from algae and is vegan approved by the Vegetarian Society.
What is the difference between the vitamin D sprays?The difference between the vitamin D oral sprays is the dosage level provided. The different colours are not related to flavours.

What dosage of vitamin D should I take?We recommend a dosage level based on body weight and advise supplementation of 1000IU of vitamin D per 25kg of body weight. This usually equates to one spray of D3000 per day for adults living in the UK. For children our D400 Infant and D400 Junior products provide ideal daily dosage levels.
I'm taking multiple sprays, should I spread it throughout the day or take them all at once?This is down to personal preference, either way provides optimal absorption.
How long will the Vitamin D Oral Spray last?Vitamin D Oral Sprays contain 100 sprays per bottle. If you are using the recommended dosage of one spray per day, it will last 100 days. While the Vitamin D+K2 contains 90 sprays, with 3 sprays per dosage this will last 30 days.
Do I need to take the spray with food or drink?No. The oral sprays avoid primary processing by the digestive system, meaning it can be taken at any time of day with or without food. The active ingredients are delivered directly into the bloodstream via the inner cheek.
Are there any contraindications with taking the vitamin D sprays?There are no interactions with taking the single nutrient vitamin D oral sprays with any medication. However, if you are taking anti-coagulants (blood thinners) we do not recommend the D3000+K2, unless on the advice of your doctor. We always recommend speaking to your GP before starting any dietary supplements if you are on any medications or have any medical conditions.
