How to Use: Apply the translucent gel evenly to a cleansed face and neck as the final step of your skincare routine. Wear alone for a naturally radiant-looking complexion or apply before make-up for a smooth, perfected-looking finish.
Tips: This is a gel-primer, not a serum or cream, and should be thoroughly worked into the skin rather than simply patted on. If applied like a normal moisturiser (smoothed on and left), it can sit on the surface of the skin and feel greasy. The trick is:
Use a small amount — less is more with this formula.
Massage it into the skin using circular motions until it feels like it has “melted” into the skin rather than sitting on the surface.
Give it a minute to fully absorb before applying anything else (sunscreen goes on before it, makeup goes on after)

Why does Icon Camera Ready come in an airless pump bottle?Icon Camera Ready is packaged in an airless pump to protect the formula's active ingredients — including Royal Jelly, Honey Extract and Propolis Extract — from repeated exposure to air and light. Because no air enters the bottle as product is dispensed, the formula stays fresher for longer, reduces the risk of oxidation and contamination from fingers or bacteria, and ensures every pump delivers the same quality gel from the first use to the last.
Why won't any product come out when I press the pump?Airless pumps work by drawing product up from the base of the bottle using a vacuum system, rather than relying on air pressure like a traditional pump. Because of this, they can occasionally need a firm, decisive press — especially with the first few pumps, or if the bottle has been left standing for a while. If nothing dispenses:
Press down firmly several times in a row; airless mechanisms often need a few pumps to prime.
Give the bottle a gentle, sharp tap or two on a flat surface (base down) to help settle the gel toward the dispenser.
Try pressing at a slightly different angle, as this can help release any air trapped in the mechanism.
Why does ICON Camera Ready ball up or pill on my skin?This happens because Camera Ready is a silicone-based gel-primer, not a serum or cream. It's designed to sit on top of your moisturiser and smooth things over, rather than absorb into the skin the way a cream does. If you apply Camera Ready and smooth it on like a normal moisturiser, it starts to roll rather than melt in, especially if there's another product underneath that hasn't fully sunk in yet, or if the primer itself hasn't had time to bind to the skin.
How much Camera Ready should I use?Less than you think. A tiny amount goes a long way with this formula. If you've been using a normal moisturiser-sized dollop of Camera Ready, try cutting it right back.
Should I apply Camera Ready straight after my moisturiser?Give your moisturiser a minute or two to absorb fully first. This ensures there's no dampness left on the surface for Camera Ready to catch on.
What's the best way to apply Camera Ready?Massage Camera Ready into the skin rather than smoothing it on. Work it in using small circular motions, almost buffing it in, rather than gliding it in one direction. Keep going until you feel the texture change, it'll go from feeling slightly tacky to feeling like it has "melted" in and disappeared.
Do I need to wait before applying makeup over Camera Ready?Yes, give Camera Ready a minute to fully settle before applying makeup on top.
Why does Camera Ready feel clammy rather than silky on my skin?Once Camera Ready has been worked in properly, it should feel silky and smooth, not clammy. Clamminess is a sign it hasn't fully bonded with the skin yet and is still sitting on the surface, which is exactly what causes the bobbling too. You need to keep rubbing in/allow time to sink in.
How can I get Camera Ready to apply smoothly every time?Use an even smaller amount of Camera Ready than you have been, and really work it into the skin for a good 20–30 seconds. It should transform the texture completely, leaving a smooth, silky primer rather than a greasy or clammy finish.
