Evening primrose oil is a rich source of gamma-linolenic acid (GLA), an omega-6 fatty acid. GLA is a type of anti-inflammatory omega 6 and helps to control inflammation within the body by producing anti-inflammatory hormones. GLA helps to reduce PMS symptoms in females and is beneficial for general skin health. Evening primrose oil is also beneficial for those with diabetic neuropathy.
