“These devices are pretty good the $290 a month free is a bit steep to enable them. My main problem was that you need the live u website available to start the streams but my phone didn’t have service where I was. You can start streaming on the liveU solo but it didn’t transcode for me and the stream dropped. I also got rate limited when using these devices only and it would get capped at 396kbps until I restarted the device.”
“I streamed a football game last night with the LiveU solo and 2 modem kit (Verizon/At&t). For the first time in my two years of streaming I felt at peace with the internet. It worked flawlessly at 8mbps and at 1080p. Also the plan is truly unlimited meaning you never have to worry about throttling. Which is a live streamers worst nightmare. I actually ordered this product through another company but it was backordered. I waited a month for this product with another company and finally canceled the order.
