The feeder's Ring Pull system appears excellent and should ease the cleaning of the feeder.
Unfortunately, the holes in the feeder are so small that the poor Goldfinches are unable to grasp any seeds. Shaking the feeder does not dislodge the seeds either.
For the sake of the Goldfinches I had to revert to an old Niger feeder from which the adult and young Goldfinches were able to feast.
Perhaps if I use a file to make the holes a little bigger.....”

Cannot fault,
Never used before but recommended by a friend. Will only continue to use going forward”
“It doesn’t work. The birds ignore it. The holes are too small to get at the seeds. Awful product, absolute waste of money. Won’t be dealing with Vine House again.”
Niger seed is mainly eaten by finches, although if a mix with Sunflower Hearts is being offered nearby, most finches, & most species, would prefer Hearts over the Niger seed. However, the most likely explanation for this apparent lack of birds is that there may not be any Goldfinches or Siskins in your area – which even this great little Ring Pull Feeder can’t influence.
