“This ring pull feeder really does what it “says on the tin”! No more screw drivers or trying to get the nuts in the right place. I just hope the main clear plastic tube lasts well”
“The sparrows are not using it much. It is in the same position as the decrepit one it is replacing. I think the birds are having trouble perching and eating at ease due to the short length of the perches.
The length of perch is less than 3.5cm
The old feeder perch length was 4.5cm and my other feeder is just under 4cm.
I cannot think of another explanation. Most of the time they try and land on it and flutter off. So it is not much use.”
