“My garden birds chuck out much of this seed mix, and the ground eaters don't like it either. I'll have to go back to the no grow mix, which they all love! I hoped to attract finches, but it didn't happen. I have sparrows, starlings, blackbirds, robins, blue tits, collared doves, wood pigeons and the occasional pair of magpies.”

Our Mixed Seed contains Black Sunflowers - sunflower seeds with husks. If you've been feeding a mix containing sunflower hearts, such as Won't Grow Mix, your birds will have become used to it & won't want to switch back. Birds will eat the seed giving the most energy for minimal effort. Taking the husks off the sunflower seeds expends their energy.
