Niger seed (nyjer seed or thistle seed) is known to be a favourite of finches, due to the shape and structure their beaks, which are suitable for a smaller type of bird seed.
“Seed is fine.Shame about DHL delivery they always just leave at front gate!
My instruction is "If out (which I never am )leave in porch"
What don't they understand about this”
“I have had difficulty in purchasing Niger seed locally, but have had it from Vine House farm before , it has always been delivered promptly, well packaged and very good quality seed. The gold finches in my garden are happy birds.”
“The Gold Finches in my garden just can't get enough of your Niger seed. Great quality, excellent service, always arrives in a couple of days of ordering.”
