“Too much wastage. The small seeds and pieces of corn are rejected by the birds on the feeder as they seem to prefer the sunflower seeds. The ground under the feeder is littered with the rejected corn and seeds. Some of the smaller seeds are eaten by other birds such as the chaffinches and dunnocks, but even the pigeons don't eat the corn. I have to sweep it up every evening so it doesn't attract rats overnight.”
