It works, it attracts a mixture of birds through a wire cage that keeps out the dozens of pigeons and magpies

All the birds from sparrows to wood pigeons love this selection. Never any left on the ground.

As usual Vine farm delivered our order the next day. The little birds (particularly blue tits) seem to like this Robin and Friends mix in a feeder. We also scatter some on the ground for our robin, which the pigeons like as well. Vine’s peanuts seem to be better quality than those sold in garden centres. Woody woodpecker and the green parakeets regularly tuck in.

I renew the tray every morning with this mix which attracts everything from jackdaws, pigeons, starlings and the occasional small bird when they can get a look in! Even the scattered food is completely cleared! Hugely popular!
