Our Dried Mealworms are a great source of protein and have been a real hit since we first introduced them. Dried mealworms have a similar level of fat and protein as the live equivalent.
What birds enjoy eating Dried Mealworms?
Dried mealworms will be eaten by most soft bill species and in particular Robins, Starlings and Blackbirds. House Sparrows will also eat them.
How do I feed Dried Mealworms to birds?
Dried Mealworms can be fed on their own, in a mealworm feeder or can be added to seed mixes. It’s very important that Dried Mealworms are soaked in water prior to feeding in the breeding season, as it is also the moisture that the young nestlings require.
How should I store dried mealworms?
They should be stored in a dry cool place.

My birds absolutely love them, particularly when they have been soaked in water.

The mealworms arrived very quickly and were well packed. I haven't tried them myself but on behalf of the birds in my garden 'thank you', they seem to be going down well.

These go down very well with our robins, blackbirds and young starlings. They're easy to use and weren't crushed in transit.

The birds love them, they go almost immediately. I have some small hanging feeders designed for small birds, and watching the magpies flapping like mad to get at the mealworms is hilarious!

These have been very popular with our blackbirds, robins and young starlings. I'd recommend putting them in a bowl on a bird table to stop them blowing away. We use a terracotta plant saucer.
