Suet Pellets - Berry Reviews

4.9 Rating 195 Reviews
Read Vine House Farm Reviews

There are so many ways of feeding these suet treats - from a mesh peanut feeder (with or without peanuts), mixed with seed or simply on their own from a bird table or the ground. They are a favourite of Blackbirds, Robins, Song Thrushes and Starlings.

the birds flock to our garden with regular visits from greater spotted woodpeckers a highlight. We see small flocks of blue tits, great tits, cold tits along with lots of sparrows & different types of finches They all seem to love the suet pellets

These suet pellets disapear as fast as I put them out...the sparrows descend en masse to grab a pellet and fly away! Then back for more!

I only purchase my wild bird food from yourselves and have never had any problems and the birds obviously are happy as they sit in the bushes waiting and there is such a cacophony of tweeting as I approach the bird tablesetc.(3) More recently there have been recently issues about delivery - one day - on its way, on its way then disappeared completely to be delivered next day. I prefer to be in when bird food is delivered.

We have a small urban garden on the outskirts of London, an oasis of green amongst a sea of concrete patios and car parking, so our feeding is vital and we are happy to support a large family of House Sparrows, plenty of Blue Tits and a couple of Robins. I used to use a Garden Birds mix and have tried others too but there was always so much waste (Sparrows!) until I discovered these suet pellets. I mix them with an equal amount of chopped Sunflower Hearts. There is zero waste and the birds love them. The Robins are always first, followed by a horde of Starlings, each taking a piece, then the Sparrows and Blue Tits feeding throughout the day. It's a joy to see our garden birds clearly "enjoying" the food we put out.

My birds -sparrows, bkackbirds etc love the suet pellets - wait in the bushes for me to fill the feeders.... cacaphony of tweets as I step out of the house at their usual feeding time! i have had to invest in new feeders as the crows break plastic perches...so I now have all metal!! I also put some suet in ground feeders. My garden backs on to a 70 acre field so lots of birdlife
