Super Suet Fat Balls Reviews

4.8 Rating 1,468 Reviews

With 50% more fat than our traditional Suet Fat Balls, our Super Suet Fat Balls are a firm favourite with garden birds and an extremely popular choice in most peoples' gardens. They are a valuable source of energy for a wide range of species, with the Tit family especially enjoying them. Made up of mealworm powder, peanut & wheat flour, finely ground & mixed with the suet, giving a pale finish. Beware of cheap suet balls as they can be mixed with sand, grit or sweepings to bulk them out

Great. Creamy and fat filled suet balls. The birds love them. The magpies are hilarious cast they go to great lengths to take the suet for containers designed for smaller birds. They are very smart birds.

Our garden bird visitors love these fat balls. We put them in a feeder specifically designed for easy access for the birds. There is no waste - any spillage onto the ground is eaten by blackbirds and wood pigeons. In harsh weather, I put a grated fatball onto the bird table, to give the birds' easy access to a great source of energy.

The birds love them but they break up much more easily than last year, so more gets wasted or picked up by rats and squirrels. Also possibly moles!!! DHL managed to deliver on the third attempt, but at least to the right address this time.

It’s a bit early to give a full review as I’ve only been using these for 2 weeks and I find that the birds are suspicious of new things hanging from the tree, however, there has been more activity in the past couple of days and the suet balls are starting to vanish, I’ve even had a woodpecker on them this morning, never seen a woodpecker in the garden before, looking promising.

Much better and more popular with the birds than ordinary fat balls. Excellent service from Vinehouse Farm as usual.
