“My 2 week trip on S/S Mary Anne was excellent. We had a different guide each week but both were good and had their strengths in different areas. The snorkelling the second week was particularly good because the guide gave us an underwater tour and pointed out things to us. Swimming with sharks, who took absolutely no notice of us, and rays was a real treat. We had the sails up 4 or 5 times although each time in addition to the engine not instead of. On board my single occupancy cabin was spacious with a spacious bathroom. The air con was efficient and there was always hot water for showering and everywhere kept clean. The staff were friendly and the chef particularly was excellent - yes I put on weight because the food was so good. Rather unusually we had a medical emergency each week - nothing to do with the trip or Mary Anne. In each case the person was taken off the ship in an appropriate way and got the medical care they needed - one in Quito and one on Santa Cruz - thanks to Andando Tours. Whilst both times it was a great shame it was nice to know we were in safe hands although quite remote. I would thoroughly recommend this trip on the Mary Anne and am sorry that I am unlikely to return to the Galapagos.”

We had a very personable guide he was one of the best - he was like family. It was a great group of people = 14 in total. There were 9 Brits (can you believe four of us were from the Liverpool area) and 3 Americans. But they were very nice Americans.”
