“I LOVE my new BioChef dehydrator. I love the fact it fits so neat and tidy into the kitchen. The stainless steel trays, so I know my food isn't absorbing poison while it dries. How quiet (a slight hum) it is when on. The fact that, because of the way the fan works, I don't have to get up in the middle of the night (I leave it on overnight) to rearrange stuff to make sure it dehydrates evenly. That its nice and roomy. (Takes much more than the round type) How efficient it is. So far, everything I've dried has done in under the (internet) recommended times, and at the lowest temperature. What good value it is, compared to other dehydrators with stainless steel racks. The only thing I was a bit disappointed with was the recipe book, which is more an advertisement for BioChef products. But I don't care about that: there's loads of info and recipes for dehydrating on the 'net, and anyway, if the rest of BioChef's products are as good as this, they're welcome to advertise. “Quick delivery. Dehydrator is great - have tried a variety of stuff already. Still experimenting with thickness of food/length of drying - working on texture, but flavours very good. I bought it partly for healthy snacks for me, but also to make dog snacks. Have tried sweet potato, banana, mushroom, fish and apple so far. My dogs love them and I know exactly what they're getting, unlike with pre packaged treats. My only gripe is the recipe book. The recipes mostly require use of the company's blender before dehydrating and I just want to chop and dehydrate! Will be looking for an alternative book. Otherwise all good.”
