“This is my first distiller. I have a CPAP machine with includes a humidifier, had stopped using the humidifier because it so quickly became rank when using tap water, even if it had been boiled. Being in a hard water area the humidifier soon became scaled. The sleep clinic had recently advised me that I really ought to be using the humidifier. This was the incentive to buy the distiller. My wife and I also use a coffee pod machine and a hot water dispenser. These need to be regularly descaled. I have had the Waterlovers Water Distiller - MK II for 2 weeks now and have settled into making 3 litres a day. My sleep is better with the humidifier in the CPAP machine working and there is no smell from the water. Tea tastes of tea rather than being some obscure muddy flavour. Hopefully, the coffee machine and hot water dispenser will last longer and not need descaling, ever. Cold tap water does taste better, but I expected that; Distilled water has no taste. If I lived in a part of the world where tap water was not safe then the distilled water would be perfectly acceptable. The machine is very easy to use and the noise of the fan and boiler is perfectly acceptable.”
