“We have a couple of these chairs now on our critical care and use them with a wide range of patients. They are compatible with all of our standing aids and hoisting equipment. We find the greatest use for these chairs is for patients progressing from hoisting to standing transfers, but who may fatigue easily. They also have a good raise and lower range, adjustable seat depth and tilt in space function which makes them easy to adjust to individual patients (and helps lower falls risk with disorientated patients). I would recommend the large casters to make them easier to steer with patients in them as well as the thicker fabric option for the arm rest (otherwise they rip quite easily). All round very versatile chair and have been of real benefit in our setting.”
