Primo Plus is engineered from scratch to take our acclaimed Primo to a whole new level, combining 2 x ESS ES9039Q2M in a dual mono layout with upgraded OPAMPs, an ultra-low noise dual linear power supply, refined filtering, and a high precision clock that cuts jitter and lifts overall resolution. It also introduces a broader range of digital inputs for greater system flexibility. USB-C handles native high-resolution audio, USB-A supports external storage, while optical, coaxial, Bluetooth, and full network streaming cover every modern source with ease. With the latest Volumio OS optimizing the entire signal path, the result is a deeper soundstage, sharper imaging, and a more natural sense of presence. Primo Plus doesn’t just improve on the original. It elevates every aspect of performance.
PURE SIGNAL PERFORMANCE
Primo Plus is designed to extract the purest possible signal from your music, starting with a high-precision clock that keeps phase noise and jitter extremely low for a cleaner, more stable presentation. Its advanced power architecture uses LC filtering and dedicated regulation for analog and digital sections, preserving subtle detail and control.
You can shape the sound with 8 selectable DAC filters or switch to NOS mode for a more natural, unprocessed character. The fully balanced output stage maintains impressive channel separation, and the built-in volume control makes it easy to run Primo Plus directly into a power amplifier for a streamlined, high-performance setup.
