“Well, unfortunately, I live in the USA. I bought from the online store in Italy because I couldn’t find a dealer in the US at first glance.(I now know why)! I bought a few different things out of the country and it’s never been an issue. (Until now)! All duties and paperwork are supposed to be completed by the Volumio shop. It’s funny I got the review today. I figured since it came from the president of the company maybe someone will pay attention. Don’t sell your product to USA customers, until you understand how to. Customers are not gonna receive it. First, the customs invoice wasn’t completed and now the hazardous material paperwork is needed or so I’m told by FedEx. I’m not gonna fill it out. It’s not my responsibility. I’m not the shipper. I don’t know, dimensions or specific details nor should I be responsible to. Plus your links are outdated. I paid for my item be delivered. But I think it’s unreasonable to even show customs forms or links on your website. Still today my Rivo Plus and upgraded power supply is in customs. This is 10 days after it’s arrived with multiple calls and emails to the FedEx agent (who still hasn’t responded) and to Marco who in his first email said his team was working on it (and that was 9 business days ago). How long does it take to fill out a piece of paper? (Especially when it should’ve been filled out in the first place in quadruplet) Again, I can’t tell you how this unit sounds. It sounded promising. This review is based solely on having the unpleasant experience of trying to buy a well received product from my own ancestors. Hopefully this will deter other future buyers from at least the USA. I’ve seen reviews a year ago on the forum (I wish I saw them earlier. However, I’m wondering if reviews or feedback has been removed??? Sad I will have to buy a more expensive Chinese made product instead.”

“* Ordered a streamer to be shipped to the U.S. * Fed-Ex lost the package. * Volumio would not send out a replacement until Fed-Ex resolved the case that I opened or Volumio received the package back. * At week 4 they told me that they wouldn send out a replacemnent regardless so that I wouldn't have to wait for an undertermined amount of time but a few days later they back-tracked on that & did not honor that claim. * I waited another week for a total of approx. 5 weeks from the date that I placed my order before cancelling the order & requested a refund. * I never did receive the product & ordered an alternate brand instead. If you are in the vacinity of Italy, it should be safe to order. If you are not, the bullets above outline what you may experience.”

“Superb tranformative piece of gear!! app works well easy to navigate sound quality second to none. Other asocciated pieces of equipment being used are as follows. RIVO + LINEO 5, AUDIOQUEST CARBON USB CABLE, DENON PMA A110 ANNIVERSARY AMPLIFIER WITH BUILT IN BURR BROWN 1795 QUAD DAC AND A PAIR OF ATC SCM19 STAND MOUNT SPEAKERS.”

“This streaming transport exceeded my expectations. Sounds _really_ good in a musically pleasing way. Even low bit rate web radio stations sound much better than I have ever heard before, this surprised me. The Volumio app is good, but I most often use roon. The build is good and I really like the simple and understated design. It is powered by the optional linear power supply.”

“I bought Rivo+ to replace my original Rivo not expecting a huge improvement but was I ever wrong. I swiched from USB connection to I2S and WOW!. If you're on the fence about a simular upgrade go for it!”

“Well I am running the streamer thru a benchmark Dac2 HGC with a Krell KAV301il pushing leaf LS50 meta w two Sunfire SDS 12 Subs I just received Krell back from a total recap! The system is still on first burn in however the crisp and clear sounds of the streamer are next level! I am listening to a streamer that is in the ranks of streamers for 3x of the price point! Love it”

“Ao fim de quase um ano e meio creio que já posso fazer uma avaliação mais fundamentada. Com o Rivo+ obtenho uma qualidade de som que um bom transporte de CD não atingiu. Creio que os aparentes pequenos bugs, na generalidade resolvem-se com um pequeno compasso de espera, ou desligando equipamentos a montante e a jusante. Em conjunto com um Qutest respondeu sempre muito positivamente a upgrades de fonte de alimentação, melhores switch com isolamento ótico, filtro USB e cabos. Muito recomendado!”
