“I purchased what I thought was a Sta Rite filter case when mine cracked. The pictures on the Voomi website showed the exact part I needed, and I paid for expedited shipping. The shipment arrived and it was a set of filters. Not the filter case that I thought I was purchasing. I immediately reported it to Voomi and described in detail what I received. I sent pictures of the item I received and a screenshot of the listing showing the part I thought I was purchasing.
Voomi’s representatives claimed the I received the correct part and took no accountability. They said they’d get me a return label as an “exception” so I waited, and waited, and waited. I followed up every 2-3 days and 18 DAYS LATER I FINALLY RECEIVED THE RETURN LABEL along with an email that I’d now be charged for return shipping. I shipped it back and was just ready to be done with it.
Today, I got an email that the return was received in their warehouse and I received a partial refund. I was now informed that I was responsible not only for the original shipping cost, return shipping cost, but now also a 20% RESTOCKING FEE! Keep in mind they didn’t mention anything about the restocking fee until after the partial return had already been processed.
I decided it was time to dispute the remainder of the charge with my credit card company this morning and provided screenshots of the issues I’ve experienced and everything I’ve had to go through to get this refund processed. Less than 12 hours later, my credit card company informed me they made a decision on my dispute, and will be charging the full amount back to Voomi.
I have two regrets in this process: (1) purchasing from Voomi in the first place, and (2) being way too patient while I wasted almost 3 weeks to get a return label.
I’d highly recommend NOT PURCHASING pool equipment from this company. They don’t stand by the products they sell and are only focused on their bottom line, not doing the right thing for their customers. Steer clear of Voomi Supply!”
