“I’ve had one of these bars since 2018 and it’s always been fantastic in terms of performance for the price. I’ve done at least 1500 workouts with it, and after 6 years is just now starting to show slight signs of wear. the knurling is fantastic with a light center knurling that doesn’t chew up your neck. Wouldn’t recommend taking it apart for maintenance but if u you would have peel the seal off the end to get to the snap ring underneath. You’ll be better off just dropping some oil in sleeve from end of the shaft. Highly recommend for ANYONE on budget over any bar at the around 300 dollar price point”

“My stainless steel Olympic bar shipped very quickly & looks & feels great. Even though I purchased the bar as a closeout, I did not notice any imperfections or issues with the bar. It has great spin and can't wait to incorporate in my workouts.”

I am deducting 2 stars based on the fact that the product I recieved has some issues, and I have not yet heard back from Vulcan. When I do, I will change my review accordingly.”

“I wanted to get the absolute power bar on BF when it was $295 but couldn't swing it. Then in April it came up on 2nd's list for $288. Although it states the knurl is milder than the regular one to me the knurl is just fine. Came in excellent packaging. Love the black oxide finish on shaft. Spin is way less than Cap OB-86B but that's OK as I have a bearing bar for the Olympic lifts. Feels great to DL and squat with. Have as yet to bench with it. I like and recommend it. “I purchased a B-side Vulcan 20 Kg V3.0 Elite 28mm Olympic Barbell because I wanted everything the barbell offered and I was fine with cosmetic "blemishes," because I'm here to lift heavy weights. Mine had a minor scratch on the end of one of the collars, and that's it, so this was a fantastic buy. The barbell is otherwise flawless and fully functional. It is my first home-gym barbell and it's still better than any I've used in my black iron gym. Fantastic buy!”

“Either the employees are drinking on the job, or they have a quality control inspector with some serious OCD, because the “b” side/clearance barbell I received is perfect in every way. If it really is a “b” side/clearance (my lifting partners and I all agree that it must be a first quality barbell sent by mistake) then Vulcan Strength Training Systems “seconds” are better than most top quality barbell from other companies. I am extremely happy. Thanks. That said, DO NOT buy a “b” side/clearance barbell… if you do, they may sell out, and there will be less of a chance for me to get another.”
