“My 2nd purchase of Elite rubber hex dumbbell pairs. Picked up the 40 & 50# pairs this time. Excellent quality dumbbells to say the least. Came quickly & securely. Only thing I can say I'm not looking forward to is when I need to move up in weight next as pairs aren't available individually evidently from 55# & up. I wish they were as I liked being able to select individual pairs fron the 50# set as I slowly progressed, rather than committing to 10 pairs at a time(as I already owned a 25# adjustable pair). And I also like the idea of going up from where I'm at currently in 10# increments rather than 5#'s to save money & space”

“Before purchasing the Elite Hex dumbbells, I was able to pick up various types of dumbbells in the area second-hand. I wanted to see which handle type I liked best before spending $1k plus on something for daily personal use. I was able to get pro style Ivanko's with the thinner straight handle, contoured beauty bells, and thicker handled urethanes. Then I purchased the Elite Hex 25lb pair, with a 75% certainty I was not going to like the rubber coated, contoured handles as much as the others. Well, I was wrong. As soon as I used them the first time, I knew this was the style I was going to go with. I sold all the others without hesitation and put in another order for more Elite Hex. The rubber grip is very tacky, feels really good in the hand, and it's a thicker handle with the rubber coating so the contoured handle is perfect for my average sized hands. I will say, if you have a larger than average hand, there's not a ton of space between the bells at the ends. But as that doesn't apply to me, I love them. The pictures look great online, but in person they're even better. Honestly, they're gorgeous. Shipping was great for being across the country (and FREE), and the product is exceptional. Really looking forward to getting the full set in.”
