“Vulcan M-61, a heavy beast of an adjustable bench. I pre-ordered it quite some time ago and finally it all arrived today. The only con so far is that it’s not easy to move. But so are 45lbs bars and plates. The simplicity of making things sturdy by using more steel. There is no post coming up to support the flat bench press under the shoulders. But if there were, it would get in the way of a decline bench press and an inclined dumbbell back fly. Again the simplicity of using more steel to make things strong. The pad is a nice, grippy, matte finish with a very firm foam that has just enough give. The black rails look nice. I don’t know of any other bench that offers knurled handles (this one has 3). Wish I could post pics. I don’t think you will go wrong with this adjustable bench if you are looking to upgrade no further.”
