“I will say that this is one helluva bar! I researched other open trap bars at this price point, but none are as industrial-built as this one! The knurling is aggressive but actually perfect for what this bar is designed for. It comes extremely well packaged and assembles in minutes. Just like the Elieko and Kabuki bars, the stand feature makes changing/adding the weight a snap. Though most are probably getting this for a home gym, it could easily be used for membership or commercial gym applications. It really is that solid.”

“Thus far I’ve been very impressed with the performance of this Vulcan strength Ox Trap Bar. I was at first a tad weary of the knurling, I thought it was a tad passive for my liking. However, my mind has changed once I threw some weight on it for use, the knurling gets a nice bite in your palms. At the current sale price of $499 ($180 off) with free shipping… this bar is hard to beat! Packaging was damaging, I was nervous the bar may have been damage by freight, however once this box was opened… I was extremely happy to see how well it was packed and not even a scuff anywhere. Assembly… took a matter of 5 minutes per side (mainly because I was taking pictures). Absolutely no issues handling heavy weight (deadlifted 428 with this already) and the built in bar jack is amazing. Easily lift the load up to the stand with one hand with 400+ loaded on the bar, extremely stable!”

“It’s a good bar. The only thing I’ve noticed that could be dramatically improved is the knurling on the handles. It is paper thin and, in my opinion, doesn’t help at all in gripping. Since these handles are removable, I would think that they could also sell (or offer) versions with different knurling aggressiveness. I think this would dramatically increase its appeal.”

“Received my OX bar about 5 days after placing the order and I live on the East Coast, the box had no issues and was packaged well. Took about 10 minutes to assemble the sleeves and I wasn't missing any hardware. The sleeves were individually packaged so they had no scratches or blemishes. The bar itself was very straight and in the upright position it is very sturdy. If I am being knit picky I would say the powder coat is not as evenly applied as I would like but lets be honest after many uses it wont stay perfect so it really doesn't matter, also the welds are not perfect but this to me doesn't make or break any of my bars, do I wish they were perfect? of course I do but the bar performs as if they were so its not the end of the world to me. I have been training with it for about a week now and these are my opinions on the bar overall: After playing around with it I was able to find ways to train almost every muscle I was trying to hit for example: bent over rows/incline rows/ bent over double tricep extensions/ squats/lunges/split squats/good mornings/hammer curls/zurech squats/ farmers carries/ bench in the rack (flat, incline , and decline)/dead lifts/ push ups/ floor bench press/ shoulder shrugs/ calf raises/ over head shoulder presses/ shoulder raises and honestly keep finding fun ways to do new things with it. I have realized that if I needed to have one bar and was ever limited for space this would definitely be the only bar I would keep as it is so versatile in uses. I have been searching and doing research for way to long trying to pick the right open trap bar and this one was the one I decided to go with, at hundreds less than any other competitor it checked all the boxes I needed. I would purchase this bar again in a heart beat and have no regrets.”

“It’s a great open trap bar. Solid built and quality features. Only knock on it is the welding. I personally don’t own and Titan fitness equipment but I’ve seen some. The welds are not as “clean” but they’re not horrible by any means. Makes we wondering if they’re making these in China or USA”
