“I purchased a 37 lb set; I liked them so much I followed up with another 10 lb. pair during holiday season sale. Great texture, great look with my black bumpers with white labels, very good snug fit on my bar and loadable dumbbells - no wobble. I work out at home around family who work from home, so rubber coated to reduce sound was important, as was the zero negative smell (compared to some of my stinky bumper plates). More expensive than raw iron, so if noise isn't a factor, and your attitude is "weight is weight," maybe you don't need these. But they are a very precise feeling product, I enjoy using them. Some might question the 1.0 lb smallest size, instead of 1.25lb. However, since I have a 15kg shorty bar, really 33 lbs, using the 1's rounds up the bar to 35 lbs and then the math is easier for every other plate added on - I find it useful.”

“Change plates are great quality. The set comes with 1lb plates vs the more standard 1.5lb plates but I will mainly use the 5 and 2.5lb plates and use fractional plates for any small adjustments. Other than this the plates will last a lifetime and are very well made.”
