“I recently purchesed this bar for my garage gym. I mainly do crossfit and strength training for football. I have used it for about 2 weeks now, and it is performing great. The sleeve spin from the bearings is fantastic, much better than any bushing bar I've used. It will hold up great to any type of general training you throw at it, but if you're planning on doing any specific olympic lifting or powerlifting, go with a speciality bar. There is one complaint, but it is something that should be expected so I didn't dock any stars. The black zinc coating on the sleeves chips very easily, mine is almost silver now and I've used it less than 10 times. But it doesn't affect the performance of the bar at all. Overall, great barbell”

“This is the best bushing bar on the market hands down! Vulcan Strength went above and beyond in design and build quality on this bar. As the owner of a Crossfit gym in San Diego, I have had the privilege of using a LOT of different bushing and bearing bars and this bar crushes the competition. For those of you who need a benchmark comparison: compared to the Rogue Ohio Bar, the Vulcan Elite Bushing Bar has more whip, a slightly deeper knurling with a very passive center knurl and better spin. Pros: - Fantastic Whip - Exceptional Spin - "Grippy" knurling + black oxide finish = grippy feel like a chalked bar without destroying your hands - It sounds like a solid bar when dropped instead of the usual death rattle of most bars Cons: Your other bars will just collect dust once you have one of these beasts.”
