Competition Kettlebells - Vulcan Absolute The patented design of the Vulcan Absolute Competition Kettlebells represents the experience that comes from years of coaching, training, and competing in the sport of Kettlebell Lifting. The patented design of the Vulcan Absolute Kettlebell is unique in many ways and ergonomically designed to increase performance as well as lower the incidence of injury to the wrists and forearms that is common with other Competition Kettlebell designs. Performance and Safety: The design of the Vulcan Absolute Kettlebell allows the handle of the kettlebell to sit further down on the lifters forearm, bringing the majority of the weight proximal to the lifters body . All other designs of competition kettlebell handles fit higher up on the lifters wrist displacing the majority of the weight to a more distal position away from the lifters body. To explain this in mechanical terms: The kettlebell is the load and the elbow of the lifter is the fulcrum point. The further the load is situated from the fulcrum point, the more increased effort is required to move the load, or in the case of the rack position; more work is required to stabilize the load. All of other designs of kettlebells place the load of the kettlebell on the weakest part of the forearm bones structure which is more susceptible to injury. The Vulcan Absolute Kettlebell not only places the load of the kettlebell further down the forearm at a stronger point but distributes more of the weight onto the body of the lifter for increased comfort, control, and safety. Competition Kettlebell Specifications: Constructed of Steel with Unpainted Steel handle; 35 mm Handle diameter at top dead center of handle; Height: 280 mm ; Diameter: 200 mm; Window: 65mm at radiocarpal cup | 55 mm at apex of core to dead center-underside of handle; Hollow Core construction; Colors: 8kg - Pink, 12kg - Blue, 16kg - Yellow, 20kg - Purple, 24kg - Green, 28kg - Orange, 32kg - Red; Construction and Finishing Methods:Vulcan Absolute Kettlebells are constructed of high quality steel. Great kettlebell. Handle provides plenty of grip without chalk

5 stars for steel quality, ergonomics, and grip. 3 stars for quality control. I'll start off by saying that you should buy these bells. I have 6 bells from kettlebell kings and I purchased 3 from Vulcan. Steel quality feels great and balanced. The wider window is absolutely fantastic and I find it much more comfortable for cleans, jerks, and snatches. My hand naturally falls into the wider window without banging my forearms and I think this is key for heavier weights like 24+kg where some forearm pressure is inevitable. The wider window also makes these comfortable for two handed swings like my hardbells, so it has the versatile of both a comp and hard bell. No pinky pinch with these comp bells! The sand blasted finish is SUPER grippy. It takes chalk well and I honestly don't even feel like I need much at all to keep these secure in the hand. All that being said, I was disappointed in the quality control. There were spurs and rough weld lines all over the handle, especially the inside of the window. I could not use these bells without slicing up my hands. I had to take some sand paper to the handle and the problem was solved completely. I will absolutely be back when I am ready to get some heavier bells in my collection. I think if Vulcan cleaned these up a bit they would out complete kettlebell kings in every way. Get some!

The competition kettlebell is extremely nice and well built. One thing to note, the wide handle has a good learning curve for the clean compared to more common design.

Recently purchased a few competition kettlebells from Vulcan as a first time buyer. I am thoroughly impressed with how they communicate from the beginning to the end. There is no second guessing. I appreciate their excellent packaging, even if its a darn kettlebell, it was packed well unlike others in the buisness. The kettlebells are just EXCELLENT in the quality (though made overseas). The price is extremely competitive if not the very best for what you get. Vulcan isn't instantly recognized as makers like R, but damn, their equipment is impressive. My only hangup is that the grips are 35mm which is significantly a.... gripe with me since I have small but strong female hands.

I purchased a Vulcan Absolute Competition kettlebell in 16kg. I am not a competitor. I just like the aesthetics of competition bells. Been very happy with my bell since I got it. I use it for flows predominantly and for weighted carries combined with another bell that I own. The construction and feel of the bell is great. The handle is raw and starting to develop a petina. I am considering replacing my 24kg with Vulcan kettlebell in the future.

I purchased the 8 and 12 kg competition kettlebells. I am very satisfied with the quality and even more so with the price. My big reason for ordering from Vulcan was the manufacturing without heavy metals, many other companies use heavy metals or have the Prop 65 warning. It just gives me some extra comfort. That and the lifetime warranty against dents or cracks.

Bought a 32kg from Vulcan a few years. That is my daily driver. I have NO COMPLAINTS and no issues with it. I love it, absolutely love it. I only wish Vulcan made a 44kg one. I have to make due with another brand for that weight. If Vulcan ever decides to craft one that size(44kg), I'll be the first one to buy it!
