“After thorough research, I am really glad I made the choice to go with the alpha bumper plates. They are high quality and the addition of color breaks up all the dull black equipment in the gym. If I ever need more bumper plates, I won’t hesitate to buy more alphas!”

“This is my first home gym purchase so I don't have anything to compare to. Plates and Basic Barbell arrived together about 2 weeks after ordering online via UPS. I expected a pallet but each item was individually boxed (2X10lbs = 1 box and same for 25lbs, everything else on it's own) and set on front doorstep. The OSO collar shipped USPS and arrived a few days before the Bar and Plates. Packages looked beat up but equipment was without a scratch in. The plates barely give off a smell at all and I haven't gotten to the olympic lifts so can't review bounce from drops (yet). I watched tons of youtube while researching barbells and would say that the spin isn't great out the box but doesn't matter with my current workouts. I have a feeling lube will help but may end up buying another barbell by the time I get to OL. I'll update in about 6 months after I have more experience with my Vulcan products.”

“I'm really pleased with my decision to order Alpha bumper plates and hold out until the stock came in. I was eyeing these plates for some time and had decided in advance they were the best for my lifting goals at this point. It's difficult to find a better value than the Alpha's in a bar set. The plates are solid and fit well on the standard bar. I've been surprised at how well they remain fixed when lifting compared to other bar/plate combinations I've used which had a lot of movement, even with oly rated plates. The standard bar is great quality, has a nice finish, and medium knurling. It's difficult to describe accurately, but lifting with this set feels more accurate than I've felt with the many sets I've used at the gym. Happy to be lifting my own weights at home and that I chose Vulcan Alpha's.”
