“Solid bar collars. They keep my weights on. They do scratch the metal bar though and make that metal on metal scratching noise. I hate sliding them on and off because of this.”

“Bought these to replace my spring collars. Highly recommend to anyone considering. I originally thought the design looked like it may be a hassle to work with while changing plates. It is not, by any means. If anything it feels smooth and natural. They hold tight. Look great. Happy guy here.”

“These compression collars look great and the reviews were good. Unfortunately, they require considerable effort to crank down or they simply do stay in place. I am using them on a Vulcan Standard 28.5 mm Olympic Barbell that was purchased at the same time. One of the compression collars seems to require more effort than the other. There is no apparent damage to either. I've already busted a knuckle trying to remove one from the barbell that was cranked down just to keep it from sliding. I will be looking for another product.”
