“I was specifically interested in change plates that weren't coated steel or iron and didn't have metal rims. Most other options I researched were metal with a rubber coating. These Vulcan discs are a unique option with a great value. I purchased the 2.5lb and 5lb pairs. I was concerned that they might be floppy or slick but that is not the case! They are sturdy and well made.”

“Plates are good. Had an issue with shipping that caused the package to be returned to sender. I was only refunded 80% due to this.”

“My daily driver change plates for barbells. They are all rubber construction and quiet for the basement gym. They go on and off fast since they sit outside the collars. I do compound (but not Olympic) lifts, and they always stay on the sleeve without collars; this includes bendy deadlift bars and smaller diameter axle sleeves.”
