“Although black they are in fact a dark grey. They are as stated between 7-12 mmm thick and riven in nature.
They were good quality and I would recommend them.”
“The tiles are a good price.
The quality is a bit patchy some tiles were less than 12mm however I understand this is due to how they are cut.
Also beware they all look different again as a result of how they are cut - which you have to accept given the nature of slate and this was not an issue for us. The slates have differing surface profiles and veins in them - due to the nature of slate used - which was what we wanted. However if you are expecting identically finished tiles then these will not be for you.”
