So easy to interlock, I didn't use a spacer ,maybe internally I may have done but I had to ensure all was square. When doing straight ends you have to ensue all edges of tiles have the same amount removes so they sit on one another. I set mine out on a board ran masking tape down the side to be cut and marked out at the same time, then trimmed the masking tape to release each tile to be cut. All the neighbours loved the finish when I was working on the driveway gate posts, I am sure some think they are stone!
Well worth the price, also customer service is great from Walls and Floors as any small breakages were replaced within days. Great job all round.”
“I initially thought it would be realativley easy however I ended up taking the first section off and start again. The reason it was difficult is that I had a wall and 3 gate posts to cover. I had built the walls and posts in blockwork. Anyway in order to fit these tiles you have to understand you need to set out each tile on the same start cut, I took 30mm of the LH edge and started from there, that meant no matter what width you needed the tiles would all stack on top of each other. I also decided to use trims to form the corners. I used Black PVC trims from Screwfix, cheap but effective. Once you start your runs ensure the levels are perfect on the first row using packers then the ones above just drop on really quickly. I used adhesive trowel 10mm deep, 20mm wide. , non stressed areas I just used patches of adhesive as you go through it so quickly when packing out to maintain a flat face. Anyway now in full swing and understaing the design of the tile the results are stunning. I decided not to space the tiles prefering the fine joint lines, as long as you keep things square they will lock together perfectly. All the nieghbours are mpressed with our new driveway entrance and gate posts. Brilliant Job.”
