“The tiles weren't in the best shape ..it took a bit of skill to lay them so that there is no gaps ,but nothing complicated! Anyone with a bit of knowledge and good tools can do it!

They fit beautifully behind our logburner. They were pretty difficult to fit, as each layer as one goes up the wall is not level, even if the previous one was. However, this is in keeping with the naturalness of the slate.”
